Set on our secluded property you will be able to relax , walk our beach , explore the woods & garden , swim in the lake , soak in the hot tub, try your hand at fishing or feed our friendly donkeys . The Lakehouse Apartment has been refurbished in June 2023. The main house is divided into 2 self contained spaces independent of each other with separate entrance and driveway and free off road parking. You have access to private beach, more than 5 acres of private woodland, garden, outdoor seating and BBQ area. The hot tub is exclusively yours in the panoramic lakeside terrace. The area is perfect for relaxation and outdoor dining. Your personal Infra Red Sauna is located in the master bathroom . The kitchen has a large fridge /freezer, coffee machine and all mod cons. New deluxe beds, good Wi-Fi and Tv in each bedroom .This beautiful ground floor holiday apartment is on a semi-detached premises that has stairs to access the entrance from the parking area.
Just footsteps from the water & beach it is ideal for families who like to bring their own kayak, paddleboard, do some lake fishing or just pack a picnic. A row boat is available to rent from May to September. Swim from the jetty or the beach , we supply beach towels just remember to pack beach shoes. This is a dream place for anyone how appreciates nature .
The house is a childrens haven to play and explore. It is gated and safe and secure from the road. They can play on the swing set or pat and feed our friendly donkeys , they always love a good chat and a tasty carrot treat .
We have our own private jetty , boat hire from a local supplier is available locally . (SUP) stand up paddle board instructor can be arranged to come on site for private lessons at the jetty and they supply boards and wetsuits.
If you are relaxed and enjoying the lake and need a grocery delivery, local online home shop delivery from Tesco and Super Value in Castlebar are available to deliver to the Apartment .

We are very centrally located in the County for touring with lots to do. Achill or Belmullet are with an hours drive for day trips and Westport is 30 minutes drive.
Knock Airport is 30 minutes drive , Dublin Airport is 2.5 hours drive and Shannon Airport a 2 hours drive .
Galway City 1.5 hours drive and you drive to Sligo in 50 minutes .
